Run the chat room: take people out, ban them, block words, manage accounts, clear the history.

Sent from the Issue / Feature Request button above the chat. Newest first. Delete takes one off the list; a copy stays under Removed messages with who deleted it and when.

Every private message sent in the chat, by person.

Old messages from before the chat saved who posted what. Say yes only if you know this person wrote it.

Ban a user or an IP

An IP like 203.0.113.7 is banned as an IP; anything else as a user.

Banned users

Banned by username. Remove lets the name back in; an IP banned with it stays on the Banned IPs list.

Remove lets the IP back in; a user banned with it stays on the Banned users list.

Removed messages

Messages deleted or cleared from the chat, kept here for 30 days.

Connections

One line per connection to the chat, newest first, kept 30 days. The browser id stays the same across names from the same browser (cookie). Network and place are what Cloudflare saw; a VPN or hosting network shows as its owner, not the person's home. The last line is the handshake: new or returning cookie, the page's Origin, the browser brand header, whether the page reported its device (a program that connects straight to the socket never does; tabs opened before 9/23 11:15 AM did not either) and how many messages the connection sent. #number is the connection id shown under Recent messages; Messages opens what that connection sent (public, private and removed) under its row.

Always let in

An IP ban never turns these away. A ban on a user still does.

Blocked words

A message or a name that uses one of these is turned away. Whole words only.

Accounts

Change password replaces an account's password at once and ends its sign-ins, so they log in again with the new one; the transcript notes who changed it and when, never the password. Deleting an account frees the name and signs it out. Admin accounts stay.

Chat history

Chat messages
Takes every message off the screen for everybody. The transcript and the evidence stay.
Transcript
Deletes the whole saved record: every message, private message and export. It cannot be undone.
